We invite you to join us for our Thanksgiving Eve Service on Wednesday, November 26th, at 6:30 PM. There will be pie following the service in the Fellowship Hall at 7:30 PM.

On Saturday March 1st, we are partnering with six other Lutheran Brethren Churches to host an event for everyone ages five and up, as we serve together at Feed My Starving Children

There is no cost to attend this, but we will need a ratio of one parent per 3 children to chaperone and drive for this event. This event is open to children as young as five years old. This event will be an excellent opportunity for all ages to serve together.

Here is the full schedule:

-          Depart from True Life Church at 9:15 AM

-          Eat lunch at Culvers in Eagan at 11:00 AM

-          Serve at FMSC from 11:40-1:45

-          Debrief and celebrate 2:00 – 3:00 PM

-          Return to True life by 4:30 PM

Upon signing up, please choose if you plan to:

-          Depart from True Life at 9:15 AM or meet us in the Twin Cities

-          If you plan to eat lunch at the Culvers in Eagan prior to our time at FMSC or if you plan to eat lunch on your own.

-          If you plan to go to Community of Joy Church in Eagan after FMSC as we celebrate and debrief our time together.

Please note, that space is limited to the first 140 people who sign up by February 15th

True Life Church is hosting National Night Out on Tuesday August 6th.

Arrive early for a 5:30 pm informal meeting on issues that concern our neighborhood, and city. The regular meeting begins at 6:00 pm, and the meal and social will be from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Please enter via: The Southeast - lower entrance of the church. You are asked to bring yourself, family and neighbors. If possible, bring something to share, like salads, deserts, or treats. On July 28th shortly after the worship service, we will be hosting one more missionary lunch with retired missionaries Mike and Deloris Kittleson. Two years ago, the Kittleson’s retired from serving in Tawain for over 30 years. In addition, Pastor Mike, will be preaching this Sunday the final message in our “Summer in the Psalms” series. Please sign up by July 21st so we can plan accordingly

True Life will host a picnic dinner at The Hylands apartments on June 27th, from 5:30-7:30 pm. Enjoy some food, games, and crafts with our fellow neighbors. If you would like to volunteer for this event sign-ups will be posted outside the sanctuary, or speak with Glen.

Good Friday Service

All Church Feed My Starving Children Event

We invite everyone age 5 and up to serve at Feed My Starving Children March 9th. There is no cost to attend this very significant and meaningful time of service. Children 11 and under must have a parent attend. Please sign up by February 18th as we will be releasing unclaimed shifts back to FMSC after that date. Please register at the welcome center.

The Annual Meeting will be Saturday, January 27th at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary. Everyone is invited to attend, however, only members are allowed to vote.

True Life Church invites you to join us on Christmas Eve as we celebrate the birth of Jesus! Our Christmas Eve morning worship service is at 10:30 am and the Christmas Eve Candlelight service is at 5:00 pm.

Church Picnic

Join us for a fun-filled Church Picnic at Oxbow Park on Sunday, June 4th at noon! The church will be providing burgers and hot dogs, while families are asked to bring a side dish to share, beverages, paper plates and silverware, lawn chairs, and games. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to spend time together as a church community and enjoy the beautiful outdoors!

Join us on Good Friday at 7 PM for our Journey To The Cross Service.

Palm Sunday

Join us on Palm Sunday for Worship.

We invite anyone from church who is 5 or older to serve with us on March 11th as we pack meals at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan. Space is limited to the first 50 people who sign up. This is a great way for families to serve together.

The schedule for this all-church event is:

• Meet/depart from TLLBC at 9:45

• Arrive at FMSC by 11:15

• Depart at 1:30 to have lunch at Community of Joy LBC

• Return to TLLBC around 3 pm

There is no cost for this event and lunch is included. We will need a number of adults as we carpool together to this. Please list all participants on individual lines at the signup sheet located at the welcome center by February 10th.

RECHARGE is an event to train, encourage and prepare those that work with children and teens. We as a church are attending this event on January 7 th. We will meet at the church at 7:30

AM and return around dinner time. We as a church want to invest into the lives of those who care for the next generation and this event does an excellent job of doing this. There is no cost to

attend, and we will provide lunch during this invaluable training. For info about the

Children's Christmas Program

Join Us On Thanksgiving Eve

Join us Wednesday, November 23rd at 7 pm for a message titled "For He…" from Psalm 107:1-22. Everyone is invited to join us afterward for pie in the Fellowship Hall.

There will be an informational meeting on September 18th following the worship service about the Borderless Mission Trip to Mexico.

We are hosting a fall orientation meeting for all students in grades 1-12 and their parents on September 14th at 6:30 PM. Please note that this year, this event is for all families of students in grades 1-12. About halfway through this event, we will divide the meeting into two rooms, one for those with younger kids and one for those in our youth ministry.

At 7:40, confirmation orientation for students and parents will happen with Pastor Mark Nienow.

Pray and Go Event

Join in for Pray and Go on Saturday, August 27 as we pray for a Rochester neighborhood. Meet at church at 10:00 am for some short refresher training and get a route. Your route should take about 45 minutes to complete. Plan to be done by 11:30 am including training and travel time. If you have never done Pray and Go before, this is a great chance to try it out. We will have sign-ups available for a new year of commitment to Pray and Go as well.

We want to invite our entire church family to join us for The Burger Bash Sunday, May 22nd following the worship service as our youth ministry puts on a great meal and shares about how God is leading each of their lives.

Many students are fundraising so that they can participate in events like Reach Out Rochester, Leadership Quest, the Youth Convention in 2022, and so many other significant events. Our goal as a Youth Group is to raise $2000 to fund these events.
