On Saturday February 21st, we are partnering with six other Lutheran Brethren Churches to host an event for everyone ages five and up, as we serve together at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan MN.
There is no cost to attend this, but we will need a ratio of one parent per 3 children to chaperone and drive for this event. This event is open to children as young as five years old. This event will be an excellent opportunity for all ages to serve together.
Here is the full schedule:
- Depart from True Life Church at 11:30 AM
- Eat lunch at Community of Joy in Eagan from 1-2:15 PM
- Serve at FMSC from 2:30 – 4:15 PM
- Return to True life by 6:00 PM
Upon signing up, please choose if you plan to:
- Depart from True Life at 11:30 AM or meet us at FMSC.
Please note, that space is limited to the first 140 people who sign up by February 1st

We invite you to join us for our Thanksgiving Eve Service on Wednesday, November 26th, at 6:30 PM. There will be pie following the service in the Fellowship Hall at 7:30 PM.
As we move forward with this year’s trip, we are expanding how we serve in Mexico. As we grow, we are seeking to bring with us, in addition to those who will serve with our children’s and women’s ministry efforts, those who can help serve with other medical professionals and those who will serve as a part of a construction team.
Our first meeting will be on 9/21 shortly following the worship service.

- Debrief and celebrate 2:00 – 3:00 PM
- Return to True life by 4:30 PM

- If you plan to eat lunch at the Culvers in Eagan prior to our time at FMSC or if you plan to eat lunch on your own.

True Life Church is hosting National Night Out on Tuesday August 6th.
Arrive early for a 5:30 pm informal meeting on issues that concern our neighborhood, and city. The regular meeting begins at 6:00 pm, and the meal and social will be from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Please enter via: The Southeast - lower entrance of the church. You are asked to bring yourself, family and neighbors. If possible, bring something to share, like salads, deserts, or treats. The main course and water will be graciously provided by the host. Please RSVP by July 29th, either via phone or email.

On July 28th shortly after the worship service, we will be hosting one more missionary lunch with retired missionaries Mike and Deloris Kittleson. Two years ago, the Kittleson’s retired from serving in Tawain for over 30 years. In addition, Pastor Mike, will be preaching this Sunday the final message in our “Summer in the Psalms” series. Please sign up by July 21st so we can plan accordingly
True Life will host a picnic dinner at The Hylands apartments on June 27th, from 5:30-7:30 pm. Enjoy some food, games, and crafts with our fellow neighbors. If you would like to volunteer for this event sign-ups will be posted outside the sanctuary, or speak with Glen.
Special Guests
MN Adult and Teen Challenge Choir represents the resilience, strength, and hope that can emerge from challenging circumstances, through their commitment to healing and transformation. During the worship service on April 7th, they will share their voices and inspiring stories with us. After the service, we will share a meal with them, in the Fellowship Hall. Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt
Our Men’s Ministry will be hosting Easter Brunch and would love to have you join us from 9-10 AM for pancakes, eggs, sausage, milk, OJ, fresh fruit, and coffee. We will take a free-will offering to support those serving on our Mexico Mission Trip and for students attending Leadership Quest this summer.
Easter Service
Join us at 10:30 AM for our celebration of the Resurrection.
There will be an informational meeting on September 18th following the worship service about the Borderless Mission Trip to Mexico.
We are hosting a fall orientation meeting for all students in grades 1-12 and their parents on September 14th at 6:30 PM. Please note that this year, this event is for all families of students in grades 1-12. About halfway through this event, we will divide the meeting into two rooms, one for those with younger kids and one for those in our youth ministry.
At 7:40, confirmation orientation for students and parents will happen with Pastor Mark Nienow.
We want to invite our entire church family to join us for The Burger Bash Sunday, May 22nd following the worship service as our youth ministry puts on a great meal and shares about how God is leading each of their lives.
Many students are fundraising so that they can participate in events like Reach Out Rochester, Leadership Quest, the Youth Convention in 2022, and so many other significant events. Our goal as a Youth Group is to raise $2000 to fund these events.
