3 years ago, some moms at True Life Church found themselves searching for a MOPS group in Rochester, but they soon realized that there were no churches in the Rochester area that held MomCo, AKA MOPS meetups. They saw a need for moms to find support, community, and conversation about Jesus.

After much prayer, they felt that God was guiding them to start a MomCo group of their own, as an outreach ministry to meet this need inside and outside of True Life Church. Even if you don't have a relationship with Christ or with a local church, we are happy you are here!

MomCo is a non-profit organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.

MomCo — then, simply known as MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) — was founded in 1973 when seven women in Colorado invited moms to meet regularly to grow together as women, parents and leaders, with the ultimate goal of reaching women with the hope of Jesus.

Today, the small gathering they called MOPS now extends to 110+ countries, 30 languages, and 82,000+ meetings a year, influencing over 3 million moms annually.
