MomCo at True Life Church has two different groups this year!

The first group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 9:00am-11:00am, September 9th - May 12th. Childcare is available.

The second group meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm, September 17th - May 13th. A free meal is provided at 6PM for all to enjoy, childcare and classes for Kids - Adults are available as well.

MORE ABOUT OUR GROUP:

2 years ago, some moms at True Life Church found themselves searching for a MOPS group in Rochester, but they soon realized that there were no churches in the Rochester area that held MomCo, AKA MOPS meetups. They saw a need for moms to find support, community, and conversation about Jesus. 

After much prayer, they felt that God was guiding them to start up a MomCo group of their own, as an outreach ministry to meet this need inside and outside of True Life Church. Even if you don't have a relationship with Christ or with a local church, we are happy you are here! 

We are eager to start this first year of awesome mom community, coffee & pastries, and hours of great conversation about being mothers and thriving women. This year, the theme is “Make it Awkward”. In a world that values polish over vulnerability, we’re reclaiming the power of awkwardness. Why? Because awkward is authentic and charming. It’s a breath of fresh air. Sometimes in our quest to be seen as competent, professional and sophisticated, we forget the value of being real. Isn’t it interesting how we love and appreciate awkwardness in others yet fight it off when we feel it in ourselves? Moms self-report loneliness in staggering statistics, probably because they feel no one truly knows the truest version of themselves. And there’s one way to make that happen—by getting awkward.
